About Us

For nearly 30 years Valley Oak Respite Center (now operated by Danville Dementia Day Care) has provided compassionate day respite care for memory impaired adults. We know that caring for loved ones with dementia is a 24/7 responsibility. We know that our respite care gives care givers four hours a day, knowing their loved ones are safe, that they would not otherwise enjoy. Our program helps dementia sufferers be more out going and social. With games, crafts, exercise, sing along music, BINGO, daily facts and memory joggers, our participants benefit mentally and physically at Valley Oak Respite Center. We are currently open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:30 until 2:30 and operate out of the Danville Congregational Church, 989 San Ramon Valley Blvd. in Danville.
