Dining to Deliver Gala 2022
Have fun while helping vulnerable seniors in our community! Join Meals on Wheels Diablo Region as we celebrate the Dining to Deliver Gala on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Round Hill Country Club in Alamo. This event will raise money to help us continue to deliver meals and lifesaving services to seniors. This 1920’s themed event will include a live and silent auction, dinner and dancing to a live big band, and a good time for all while also making a meaningful impact on the lives of the seniors MOW Diablo Region serves. We encourage you to wear your favorite 1920's themed attire, bring out the flapper dress, and your spats (encouraged but not required). Paul Heggen, award-winning Chief Meteorologist at KPIX-TV will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the Dining to Deliver Gala! Paul has earned several awards for weather coverage over the years. Recently, he won the "Weather Anchor" Emmy for his work at KPIX during the 2020 season — that brought his total number of Emmy Awards up to seven! He has also won multiple "Best Weathercast" and "Best Weather Anchor" awards from the Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists. In 2019, he was named "Weathercaster of the Year" by the Radio, Television, and Digital News Association of the Carolinas. We will have live music by The Timebandits, Solano County's Premier Dance Band. They are a family of talented, well-versed musicians bringing a powerful message and high energy! Join us for a night of dinner, dancing, and family-friendly fun, we hope to see you there!
