Each year, the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley partners with NBC Bay Area News and Safeway stores in Alamo, Danville, and San Ramon for the annual food drive accepting food donations for the Food Bank of Contra Costa County. During the holiday season, bags of groceries priced at $10 are available at Safeway stores and food items are specifically designed for supply needs of area food banks.
