As Care Coordinator at Alamo Counseling, I facilitate a welcoming and seamless transition into our services. I also facilitate our SEW-DBT Workshops for adolescents. I strive to help our clients feel comfortable with the process by being responsive, attentive, and informative. I promptly respond to inquiries about our clinicians, their availability, and our services. I approach all clients with empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to understand needs. My field experience thus far includes a certification in Addiction Studies, an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and as both the lead residential counselor and milieu trainer in a treatment program for adolescents with substance use disorders. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree towards licensure as a therapist. My professional experiences have brought me an immense amount of fulfillment, reinforcing and strengthening my commitment to a career in mental health.
